7 Fold Flower Card

...or at least my attempt at a 7 fold flower card. I followed a link on Mel's blog to this tutorial. I used a Uhu Micro Line glue pen that stuck the paper together well and quickly, but I think I put too much on the petals that attach to the card; rather than just putting glue on the tip of the petals, I put it on the length of the petals as well. That'll teach me to follow instructions to the letter...

  1. I think it looks great! It's a LOT easier to get the flowers to work if the petals are rounder (like Mel's). After I made mine I realized that lily flowers actually curve the wrong way--it's better to choose something that has petals that curl toward the center of the flower, not toward the outside. Live and learn!

I'm linking to your post from my blog. Hope that's okay.

  2. Looks good to me Toots...another on my list of things to do, which is getting longer with every blog I visit!!!

  3. Lovely Totty.. very impressive..
